Macro Infosys has been providing hosting solutions to all our clients on the cheapest rates possible in the market. We keep trying to improve more and more on our services and support. All this is possible only through your kind support and understanding. We have noticed some clients violating the Conditions of Use , which leads to problems on server and other existing clients.
This mail is a request to all the current Shared Linux Hosting users about the usage of CPU of the server. Recently our data centers found that some accounts were using scripts on their websites which violate the Conditions of Use of our services. Such scripts were meant to be used on dedicated servers or on a VPS only. Since this is shared hosting which provides a low cost alternative to costly dedicated servers, it has some CPU usage limits as mentioned in the Conditions of Use.
Accounts found using heavy scripts and modules like Social Community Builder scripts, WordpressMU this is different from WordPress normal edition , and other scripts that need higher requirements have already been terminated as they violated Conditions of Use.
Such violations by any user will lead to direct termination of the accounts without any notice. To avoid any such issues please follow these important points :
1. Please check your current accounts and websites for any heavy scripts installed, if yes please remove them immediately.
2. Before installing any new script or any module, please read its documentation properly to check what are the system requirements. Only if it doesn t need dedicated server or high CPU usage, continue with the script else please don t install that script.
3. If you have any doubts with your current scripts or any new script you wish to install, please do contact us before installing that script and we shall guide you whether the script is allowed or not.
4. Using the server as a mass storage media is strictly not allowed, only the files related to your website shall be on your account.
5. Audio & Video streaming from the server is not allowed. It needs dedicated servers or VPS.
Please read the Conditions of Use also carefully to know more about this. We are just requesting our users to ask us once before using any such scripts, we will respond immediately, this will help both sides.
